Pawsome Pals was created with one simple goal in mind: to provide dogs with the kind of care we would want for our own.

Founded by Kenny and Val, Pawsome Pals is a family-run dog care business offering daycare, grooming, dog walking, and boarding services across North Edinburgh and Fife*. From day one, the focus has always been on calm, reliable, and compassionate care, never rushed, never overcrowded, and never impersonal.

We know how important it is to trust the people caring for your dog. That’s why we’ve built Pawsome Pals around strong relationships, consistency, and a genuine understanding of each dog’s needs!

Kenny and Val started Pawsome Pals after seeing first-hand how difficult it can be to find dog care that truly puts the dog first.

Too often, they saw services that were:

  • Overcrowded
  • Rushed or inconsistent
  • Focused on numbers rather than individual dogs

They believed there was a better way, one that prioritised calm environments, structured routines, and dogs feeling safe, settled, and understood.

Pawsome Pals was created to offer an alternative: a reliable, home-from-home style of care where dogs are treated as individuals, not just bookings.

We never overcrowd. This allows us to supervise properly and maintain a calm environment.

Routine & Familiarity

Dogs feel most comfortable when their day has structure. We focus on consistent routines and familiar faces.

Positive Handling

We use gentle, patient handling — especially important for nervous, young, or older dogs.
